The Diamond Lattice Scarf

If you can crochet a chain stich and count to 5 you can do this super easy and impressive looking.
Tonight I will take photos of each step. You will need approx. a half skeins to one skein of bulky yarn this pattern works well with which ever hook you like to use: K, L, or M.
With your hook and yarn - ch 30
Row 1 slip stich in the 10th chain from the hook. Ch 5, count every 5 chains, slip stick, repeat to the end of row 1.
Row 2 ch 5, turn and slip stich in the middle of the ch5 loop (or third ch). Repeat. ch5 and slip stick into the middle chain of each loop.
End of row 2, ch5, turn and repeat. Then repeat the same ch5 and turn until you have reached your desired length.
You can make this into an infinity scarf, squares that you can individually attach to make a longer scarf or patchwork blanket, or just a regular scarf. I prefer my scarves long so this is nice because it is easy to do in a night or two and then you have a fantastic gift or a unique handmade creation.
The finished Grey Diamond Lattice Scarf is $20.00 with payment via Paypal.
